Synopsis:
The documentary tells the story of the endangered rivers of the Balkans. It follows the daily lives of local communities and environmental activists fighting to save rivers from Albania to Slovenia.
The film aims to raise awareness about the destructive and irreversible impact of an energy source often promoted as renewable—or even “green”—energy: electricity generated by sacrificing rivers and valleys, damaging ecosystems, and profoundly affecting the lives of local people and beyond.
