Play Giurgiu returns between June 26 and 28 with the third edition of the film festival dedicated to the young audience of Giurgiu.
Organized by the Animest Association and the Tudor Vianu Theatre, with the support of the National Center of Cinematography, Giurgiu County Council, and Giurgiu City Hall, the festival once again brings screenings to the Small Hall of the Tudor Vianu Theatre and the Esplanade, keeping the format that audiences have already become familiar with during previous editions.

Access to the indoor screenings is based on tickets available through eventbook.ro, while the screenings on the Esplanade are free of charge.
In addition to the films, the program will include workshops, discussions, the Cărturești stand, and other activities that will complete the three festival days.
Starting in 2024, Play Giurgiu began to find its place in the city’s calendar and to bring together children, teenagers, and families who come for the films, the festival atmosphere, and the way the city comes alive for three days.
PLAY Giurgiu is not just a film festival. It is a meeting between generations and an open platform for artistic expression. Designed as an annual event dedicated to the city of Giurgiu, the festival brings together artists, children, parents, and teachers, creating a meeting space between film, play, education, and community.
