Synopsis:
In 1935, Antoni Benaiges is hired as a teacher in a small, isolated village in Burgos, Spain. He develops a close bond with his students, children between six and twelve years old, and makes them a promise: he will take them on a trip to see the sea for the very first time in their lives. Seventy-five years later, the granddaughter of one of those students uncovers the remarkable story behind a promise that was never fulfilled.
