Caliu: Nothing Else, What Else Could I Do?

Synopsis:
Legendary Gheorghe 'Caliu' Anghel, known as the “King of the Violin,” lives between the memories of international acclaim and the present-day struggle for recognition. The complexity of his artistic and ethnic identity unfolds beyond the stage: within his family, in his native village, on tour, and in the face of his own regrets. Audiences discover not only a gifted musician, but also a charismatic, vulnerable, and sincere individual. Caliu’s story reaches its climax with the unexpected appearance of Johnny Depp in a key moment of the film, where music and cinema intersect.
